An Emerald City Giveaway!

I’m SO excited that my author page recently hit over 500 followers! AND Count Me In just hit 100 reviews on Amazon! You guys! That just brings me joy. In addition, If She Dares, the novella previously released in the Once Upon a Laugh collection, has been released on its own as both an ebook and a paperback!

And in all my giddiness, I thought a giveaway would be a fun thing to have happen. SO BEHOLD! I present to you the Emerald City Giveaway!

Emerald City Gift Box

Included in this prize for one lucky reader is:

  • A signed paperback of Count Me In
  • A signed paperback of If She Dares
  • A small moleskin Seattle Map notebook
  • A “Faith Over Fear” silver cuff bracelet
  • A Seattle skyline rain globe
  • Count Me In mug
  • An If She Dares mug
  • A $10 Starbucks giftcard (because all things Seattle!, not pictured)

Thank you, dear readers, for your support, encouragement, and PATIENCE as I continue to write (albeit slowly) the next story in the Emerald City Romance series. I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.

I wrote this first series as an ode to my old (nearby) stomping grounds, Seattle. I love Seattle and all its beauty (both God-made and manmade), uniqueness, and presence. You have to visit one day, if you haven’t already! And while you’re there, you need to visit Vancouver because it’s just as unique as Seattle, despite how close they are to one another.

Click here to enter the Emerald City Romance Giveaway!

And stay tuned for more Emerald City Romances later this year!

*Void where prohibited. Open to US addresses only, please. (I’m sorry…shipping is a nightmare!)

  1. I love to visit the cities where my grandchildren are 🙂 Sacramento area in California; Portland/Vancouver area in Oregon/Washington; Northern California; and British Columbia in Canada. There are many other places I have never been but would love to visit! Also, the San Diego area where my mom and some of my siblings live.

    1. BC! I’m from BC originally!!! I LOVE that province so much. ❤ And miss it. San Diego, Portland, Sacramento, NorCal…all places I've been and loved! You have a great list going here. 😀

    1. Thank you so much, Rachel!!! ❤ And San Antonio!!! I desperately want to visit there–my sister used to live there when I still lived in Canada, so I never got a chance to go. We now live close enough that it's a pretty easy day drive, so it's on my bucket list! And NYC…it's just invigorating!!!

Favorite city to visit…Duluth, MN. I adore it there and wish I could go more often. Once to twice a year is pretty fabulous though. So beautiful there!

    1. Thank you so much!!!! ❤ You know, I've never been to Minnesota, and I used to live only five hours away! I kick myself that we didn't take advantage. I'll have to make sure Duluth gets on my US Bucket List!

  3. So many cities and so many flavors, I am not sure I have a favorite unless you consider home. I grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas so it has a huge hunk of my heart!

    1. I’ve never been to Fort Smith, but my in-laws who are visiting right now plan on stopping there on their way back home! I’ll be sure to ask them for lots of photos!!

  5. Favorite City? I’ve served parishes all over the country. I think I’d choose Crisfield Maryland. Where I currently live, Syracuse NY is nice, but we’ve been to Crisfield a few times and it’s a nice place on the Eastern Shore

    1. I love DC, but I’ve only ever flown into Boston–never stayed! I do have a friend who owns it as their favorite city and the way she describes it, it sounds amazing!

  7. It’s hard to choose a favorite city. For places, I’d choose, Switzerland, Scotland, Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, and Yellowstone. I’m looking forward to seeing you in Maryland in a couple of weeks, Mikal! It’s getting so close!!! Get ready for a big tackle hug!

    1. Washington is so beautiful! I used to go to Bellingham often (it was not quite an hour from where I grew up). I just love Washington in general. ❤️

  8. Can I pick 2? Riberalta, Bolivia where my grandma grew up and my great grandfather planted the first Evangelical church in the area in the 1920s. And Cochabamba, Bolivia land of eternal spring, beautiful mountains, yummy food, and wonderful people.

In the States I love my city, Indianapolis, btu I also love Chicago as long as I don’t have to drive!

To answer your question, I absolutely love Chicago! My family has history there, and between Lake Michigan and all of the city attractions, I absolutely adore it!

    1. Gah!! One of my biggest regrets is that we didn’t visit Hilton Head when we lived in Georgia. I’m still sad about that, nine years later!

  10. There are so many wonderful places to visit in the USA, but I’d have to say that I love to go to Seattle, WA and Arvada, CO (near Denver) because that’s where at least some of my long-distance grandchildren live! My family is spread all over the place, so it’s hard to have a favorite!! Thank you for this fun giveaway!

    1. I understand that, Jeannie! My mum lives in Canada and her grandchildren are on the west coat of the US and in the midwest. It’s hard on her to be far from them. We’re still working on her to get her to move down here. 😉 But you’ve chosen two beautiful places!! I love both Seattle (obviously!) AND Denver!!

  11. Yay!! That’s SO exciting! I still have Count Me In anxiously awaiting me on my Kindle . . . Perhaps that should be my next read, after I finish the one I’m on . . . Am I the only book worm that thinks about what to read next, while still in the middle of a book?
My favorite city to visit? Hmm . . . Truthfully, I’m not much of a city person. I’m a small town/country girl and I’m okay with that. But if I had to choose . . . Maybe Washington D.C. We have family there, so there’s visiting them, and I enjoy the history and touring the museums and monuments. 🙂

    1. No! You aren’t the only bookworm that thinks about the next book. I mean, a plan is necessary! 😁😂 And thank you!!! I hope you have fun with Tyler and Allegra in Count Me In. 😍 As for DC, it’s a great city, SO much to do!
